How to Sponsor a Course
The most effective way to provide survival training to pilots is to bring these programs to you. It is relatively easy to sponsor a course in your area. If you are a member of a pilots organization or have an unofficial group of interested pilots we can help you organize a program. The following information is provided to help you get started.
The Programs
Our standard 3-day course can be presented in any location. Custom courses of any length can also be created to meet specific needs. These customized programs can include partial day seminars or multi-day courses. Subject areas can be tailored to emphasize any terrain, climate, geographical area, or safety need. Custom courses are developed on an individual basis. For a detailed proposal including cost and curriculum, please contact our office.
Minimum Student Enrollment
In order to bring a standard course to your location, we require a minimum enrollment of 15 students. If it is not possible to gather a group of 15 for a program we can develop courses for smaller groups. The cost for small groups (less than 15) are usually charged out at a flat rate, or the cost per student is adjusted upward.
Course Fees
The cost for our standard three-day aircraft course is $450 per person. This is based on a minimum enrollment of 15. Fees for small groups and custom courses are based on the length of the program, number of students and other factors involved in the specific training and location.
Course Marketing
ETI will work with the sponsoring organization to develop promotional literature for the course, but the bulk of the marketing responsibility will lie with the sponsoring organization.
Designated Contact Person
To facilitate the successful operation of the course ETI requests an individual be designated as the contact person for the course. All communication and information will be routed through the contact person to and from ETI.
Course Site Requirements
Adequate classroom space for the anticipated group size. Ideally this facility should be located near an area that would provide an adequate outdoor setting for field activities and simulations and contain the following:
Course Scheduling
Courses can be scheduled on a custom basis, during the week or over a weekend.
