

ETI's Advanced High Angle Rescue Technician course was created to give rescuers
knowledge and experience in the advanced techniques of mountain high angle rescue
and evacuation skills. This is an intense training program designed to increase
proficiency and skill level and to present the latest advancements in rescue
technology and equipment. Students must have completed the High Angle Rescue
Technician course (or equivelant) before being admitted into the advanced course.
The Advanced High Angle Rescue Technician course is an intense and challenging
40 hour training program
The curriculum for the course is listed below:
Course Format
The Advanced High Angle Rescue Technician course is 40 hours in length. It is
an action packed 5 days of hands on training. Students should provide their
own personal gear. ETI provides all technical equipment for the training.
Course Cost
$640 per person.
Enrollment Limit
The enrollment is limited to 20 students.
Course Location
Courses available on location in your area. Training also available at our training
sites in Colorado.
Course Schedule
Courses are scheduled on a contract basis. Open enrollment courses are available
occasionally. Call our office for information.
Contracting or Sponsoring a Course
The best way for your organization to receive training is for ETI to bring the course
to your location. In order to contract a training program with us, we require a
minimum enrollment of 15 students. If you are not able to meet the minimum enrollment
requirements, sponsoring a course in your area is a great option. By making spaces
available to others in your area, minimum enrollments can usually be met. A specific
course sponsor packet is available by calling our office.
